Hey! Welcome to A Texas Bit of Everything. We are just two sisters, two moms, two nights a week filling the minds of the masses. With a love for everything and a need to tell everyone about it. This is primarily a book blog but not limited as such. Books, Movies, Music and more will be enjoyed and discussed while perusing these pages. You may call me Ivy! I am very excited to start this endeavor with my little sister. We are two very different types of creative and I am anxious to see what it becomes. I work full time as a network technician and team lead for a small business in Texas. It is an amazing company that treats me like family. This allows me to support my family and still have the time to spend with them. I have been married for almost 8 years to my high school sweetheart. We have two little ones. Doodle is a beautiful and smart girl who is currently loving kindergarten and Monster High. Rhyno is a charismatic little boy with a habit of getting into trouble. They keep my days interesting and worth waking each day for.
A little about myself. First and foremost, by the grace of god, I have been blessed with two handsome boys. My oldest, to you my reading friends, will be my Super Monkey and my youngest is my Lil Dragon. They are my heart and soul. Then I have their daddy, my one and only high school sweetheart Fuzzy. Why Fuzzy? He works at a truck building shop that specializes in hunting rigs and loves his beard. BOOM! Fuzzy was born. Now the fun rambling. I am a lucky stay at home mommy and I nanny for three great children. My day is spent cleaning, feeding, changing, chasing and cleaning again. Every once in a while I get to play with firearms and let loose and be crazy, after all I am a Texas lady that lives in the country. I recently started reading like crazy and drawing in between. My Hubby decided I should learn to tattoo so I have added it to my list of jobs. At 23 I have finally decided what to be when I grow up. I have done two things I was certain about, time for the third. Digital Animator is the goal, but till I get there I am rocking Mommy life and loving it.
